I made mac and cheese with bacon last night, so I had that leftover with a side of loneliness for dinner.

Just watched a movie called The Founder. It’s the story of Ray Crock portrayed by Michael Keaton. Pretty rad movie. Now though, we want some old school Mickey D’s. Haven’t been to one in forever.

That looks so tasty right now.

I’m working so it was two packets of cheese and onion crisps and two cans of Coke.

But I’ll make up for it when I get home in six hours.

Yesterday I ate a whole rhubarb crumble with custard, to, my, self. NICE.

Mac n cheese is a decent substitution for human companionship

What did you serve with the steak. Looks (on my mobile)like giganti pasta shells with a pesto sauce.

Just boiled bok-choy. Some light veggie on the side.

A little Asian-fusion going on there lol.

We’re going out to some place I never heard of... sammiches, taco, salad cafe kind of thing. Would like to be optimistic but decent food is hard to find.

I’m on my way to a buffet with fireworks that hopefully aren’t in the restroom.

I’ve never read a more relatable comment on Oppo

Is bok-choy anything like pak-choi?

Never heard of bok-choy but I know we do pak-choi on the produce aisle. I’ve never tried it though.

EDIT: just googled it, it’s the same thing. I must give it a try.

Yeah, I have a few recipes for it, my usual recipe is stir-frying it with some garlic and ginger, or if I’m lazy, just light par-boil it with some salt and oil. The one I used here is baby bok-choy.

Gordon Ramsay also uses chili flakes, oyster sauce and soy sauce.

I think I’m going to have to have a play with some of the veg we have that I haven’t tried yet.

Tofu poppers. Doesn’t sound great, but they’re fantastic. I take extra firm tofu, cut them into cubes, toss them in a blend of corn flour/corn meal/salt/pepper, then throw them on a pan (coat with cooking spray) in a 550 degree oven. They get crispy and come out like cross between a mozzarella stick and french fry. Dipped in BBQ sauce or ketchup, they’re fantastic. It’s also SUPER easy. I’ve been wrenching all day (with the exception of 2 hours where I went on a little date).
